Products
We have released QueryCell, QuizNightChief and CustomerCradle.
QueryCell is an Add-In for Microsoft Excel that allows the user to query using SQL within the Excel application itself.
QuizNightChief is an all-in-one tool for the planning, playing, scoring and reporting of Quiz / Trivia nights.
CustomerCradle is a software product that makes it a snap to record and report on how customers heard about the user's business. It gives them the facts they need in order to target their marketing time, effort and budget.
About Oak Focus Software
Oak Focus Software released its first three software products QueryCell,QuizNightChief and CustomerCradle in 2009.
Founder: Sam Howley
"Some of out products grew out of frustrations I experienced firsthand.
QueryCell came about as it was frustrating not being able to use my SQL knowledge when dealing with data in Excel.
Something that I knew how to do very easily with a
simple Select statement, Join or Group By in SQL would send me running for books and reference websites when using Excel.
I wanted the power of SQL in Excel.
CustomerCradle came about after I had a discussion with an advertising saleswoman who explained that
the vast majority of small businesses she dealt with didn't record where their customers heard about the business.
These business operators had no way of knowing what marketing strategies were paying off. We created CustomerCradle
as a easy way for these businesses to measure their marketing results."
Sam has over 8 years professional experience developing software in addition to designing, administrating and using relational databases.
In 2009 he took the plunge and started working full time on Oak Focus Software.

Oak Focus Software is, for the moment, a MISV, a Micro Independent Software Vendor. This term simply means it is a small start-up company.
We are based in the capital City of Australia, Canberra. Naturally we try and not let all the political shenanigans and intrigue swirling
around distract us from our mission of creating high quality software that makes your life easier.
Future Plans and New Features ?
All three products are under active development.
New products are on their way.
While we love Feedback and having a conversation with our users about how to improve our products
we do not believe in "vaporware" and will not announce new features until they are near completion and almost
ready to be released.
At any given time customers are encouraged to make their purchasing decision based on current product
features. We want happy customers and would not risk disappointing them by making promises we might not be able to deliver.
